These macarons are notorious for their diva behaviors and I have been fortunate to have been fine until recently. I blame the new brand of almond flour I bought which was supposedly better. Some have volcano cracks, others wrinkly macs. Then there are some with perfect stats. All part of the journey I never experienced initially.

Being cooked on the same tray will yield those perfect stats ones along with the volcano cracks ones. I chuckle everytime I see its erratic behaviors. Of course frustrating after all I'm not a saint. Next time I'll take a pic of it when I'm not frustrated so you can see what I'm talking about.

Now I have dozens of these divas lined up for me to come up with some makeup solution for them. Easy. My kids can eat them. They've been patiently waiting for these macawrongs. But I want to dress them up and give them a chance to shine. I have a few things I want to try so stay tune for next time.
